Summer 2018 Thread
« on: June 20, 2018, 07:01:17 AM »
Some of this summer will be like all the rest:

1 Ride bike
2 Read
3 Beach

A few different things:

1. My daughter gets married this weekend
2. A trip to Oregon (maybe)

No trip to Montreal this year.  Hopefully next year.

We're halfway through the summer already.

I went downtown to watch the fireworks on July 4th.  As usual, it was really crowded.   :sweating:

Going to the beach in a week!  Last thing on my (very short) list.

Summer pffft

I'm heading to the snow today for my 4th trip of the season.

Dreading summer if it's anything like the last few. I don't mind the hot days if we can get some relief at night. But the last few years have seen the temps stay high late into the evening with few relieving storms and cooler winds.

Enjoy your trip!

We've had a lot of rain this summer.  They're not major storms, just seems like endless cloud cover.

It was a strange summer for weather.  A lot more rain than usual and it didn't seem very hot.  Over the last few weeks, summer held on a bit with the temperatures abnormally high (in the 80's F) but that all ends after today.  The air will get cool starting tomorrow, putting a final end to the summer of 2018.
