Can't be specific about dates yet, as tickets aren't on sale yet.
Plus we are moving house soon.
Priorites of course. House first, then worry about dates for fun/travel.

condition and hospitalised for a week or so. tsk

Walked to work without bumping into a drunk asking me if I can spare a thousand dollars.
Bumped into an old ex and she is now 275#.
Bumped into another ex who now has 5 kids (none is mine).
Got in the office and the coffee is ready and someone brought doughnut from Krispy Kreme.
Found a penny on the side walk. Picked it up and gave it to the drunk who asked for a
thousand dollars. I told him I owe him $999.99. Sounds so much smaller than $1,000.00.

It is Thanksgiving and even though it is tough for me financially, I still have so much
to be thankful for. When I think of all the blessings that I have, it makes me smile
and definitely makes my day.

Not today, but two days ago I saw Billy Joel in concert for about the 12th-15th time in 20+ years.
At 59 the man still has it.
His slightly heavy rock version of "It's Still Rock 'n Roll to me" was the best version of that song I have ever heard.
150 minutes of pure enjoyment. Then 60 minutes of hell trying to get out of the carpark.

They eat ants and other small insects. Being a wild animal, we just left it alone. The spikes are a defence mechanism, they do not contain any toxins, they just stop predators from eating them. :)

I was told he had some animals with him :'( He was rescued by some US military via helicopter. Am afraid they let it go of the animals. I am just glad he made it and alive. No communications I got anymore from them since early this morning but I know they are all safe. The dike that gave way was not expected. What people were watching is the one towards Villasis which is near Rosales.

oh well, it happened all throughout pangasinan, la union, ilocos, baguio etc... no contacts whatsoever

to trace where our relatives are because of the rescue team who are in the group.
emails were the only contacts and it's really helpful in times of calamities like these.
one thing that I'm happy about is... the quick reactions and moves among the town people from
all over the globe (including gloria diaz) to send aids to feed the flood victims. at the moment,
people are still at the evacuation centres. all schools nearby were utilised as evacuation areas.
you could see that disasters like these, unity among townmates is evident without having to rely on politicians.

Better believe it Q it happend and still happening. Wondering about what ...the US military that rescued my brother? Yes they did, the area during that peak of disaster was impassable and I was told the current was so strong even rescue boats couldn't do it. Some US military are in the Philippines for the Balikatan and for humanitarian purposes.

Ally not all areas were flooded and they still have electricity. My niece has a friend who is the son of the mayor of Bayambang. Their house is on the high level and using generator if there is no electricity. Some of these rescuers use cell phones and give info to their friends who are at home able to access into their computers therefore can go to their facebooks. Some of the news I got early morning today was from my brother himself who is in the higher ground now and I talked to him thru my nephew's cp. In fact he is back to their house again which is still knee deep assessing the damage. Any more info you could call me...by the way I lost your phone number 'cause my cp got wet 2 months ago...i could have call you myself.

As we sang the Philippine National Anthem - Bayang Magiliw -along with the Australian National Anthem - "Advance Australia Fair" this morning, traces of sadness were shown among the audience due to the ongoing disaster in Phils. As the Philippine Consul delivered his speech, bayanihan values was mentioned because of the immediate action and reaction among Filos residing in Sydney. Yes, there were many who responded to the cries of our kababayans. On the spot "Abot Kamay" appeal during the function generated a good fund. Thanks to the values we've learned from our ancestors "The Bayanihan" among Pinoys is still embedded in us when it comes to severe disasters and calamities.
The song Bayang Magiliw was sung with in depth feelings this morning.

I am smart. I am good looking. I do not drink alcoholic beverages. I am a gourmet cook. I do windows. I love children (so long as they are no my children). I go to church every Sunday (unless I have a hangover from the night before from drinking alcoholic beverages which I should not have been drinking). I am very patient. A good dancer. A good singer.

The anticipation of a thunderstorm this afternoon. The only good thing about warmer weather.
Actually there are some other good things about warmer weather - the fishing and the more revealing clothing of women.
Last month was the hottest here! It's getting better now.
It went to 52 degrees Celsius (maximum)....that's about 125 Farenheit.. with Relative Humidity of 100 percent...no kidding!..

AAA showed up this week after a long time absence. It's nice to see members of the old group again. Makes me realize how close we all were at one time. Think about it, we were together almost every day, laughing, joking, debating. We even fought sometimes but it was ok because that's what families do. :yes:
